Ephesians 5:15-17

“Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.  So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

Our days are filled with opportunities that entice us to invest our time and energy. Each day the tyranny of the urgent cries out for every available moment. With all these voices shouting for our attention, how can we recognize God’s voice among so many competing voices? Every day we make choices in how we will spend our time. Each day is filled with only 24 hours and we must make minute-by-minute decisions on how we will spend those moments. There is a uniqueness about time. It can only be spent once! It can never be reclaimed. It cannot be lived over. Time is a precious commodity. The use of our time is important to God. As we wisely invest our time, we will find that God will use our lives to make a difference in our church, family, personal relationships and workplace.
