Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.

This week has been difficult for our family as we have watched our loved ones endure heartbreaking grief, patient endurance of illness and the rewarding joy of eternal salvation. We have experienced that it takes a mind stayed on Jesus, the Word, to receive perfect peace for excruciating grief. We have experienced that it takes strength from Jesus, the Word, to patiently endure and care for an ailing loved one. And we have experienced that It takes trust in Jesus the Word, to wait through the years for that one we care for to receive salvation. This week we have known the joy, the hope and the compassion of the Lord. I am so grateful that we had the exhortation of fasting and praying during this time as it was essential for our minds to stay on Him.

I pray you are staying close to Jesus, the Word, and that this encourages you. Please know that the Lord will give you everything you need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).

Holy Spirit You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory God is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence Lord.
