Revelation 2:11

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.

Dark, smoke-filed skies, isolation weighing on nearly every heart…and yet the Lord still speaks. But what is He saying to you now? Do you know? Is your heart so clouded with ache you can’t tell what He’s saying? To stay in step with the Master is the honor of all God’s children who have been purchased and redeemed while living in a fallen age. Whether pestilence or famine, persecution or plenty the Lord Jesus reigns, is in command and is still speaking in these historic times of challenge.

But the question for us today is,  do we have ears to hear? Are our ears bent toward the scriptures and the Spirit, or clouded primarily with our present pain? It is only human to be bewildered, but as saints, we are not your normal human. The Spirit of God resides inside all who call Christ Lord, offering us divine power in even the darkest of times. And as Jesus speaks with red letters to the churches in Revelation, how tragic it would be if we didn’t have ears to hear during these pivotal moments in history the Divine strategies He wanted to share, the insights for the lost who’s hearts are broken and open, and providential insights to overcome the snares of Satan and shine Christ’s light and power, even through great pressure.

Church family, join me and my family as we strive to take our spiritual disciplines up a notch that we might hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches, and our Campus Bible Church family. His promises for those who overcome will be far greater than gold!
