Daily Devotional

What do you have confidence in? Think about it; on a daily basis we place our confidence in so many things! I have confidence that my alarm will go off, that the light will come on when I flip the switch, that water will come out of the tap, that my Keurig will deliver me delicious coffee at the push of a button, that my car will start when I turn the key. I trust in a lot of things, and truthfully take a lot of things for granted. But what happens when the things we place our confidence in don’t work? Sometimes our phone dies, sometimes the power goes out, sometimes the car doesn’t start! Everything we place our confidence in can fail…except for one thing. There’s ONE thing that will never fail, one thing we can have FULL confidence in, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! During good times and bad, through every season of life, let us keep our eyes on Him!
