Nehemiah 13:31

Remember me, O my God, for good!

Nehemiah prayed this to the Lord after King Artaxerxies allowed him to go back to Jerusalem to rebuild. While there he made reforms in the temple, he made reforms to re-establish the Sabbath, he made reforms for re-establishing rightful marriages and he assigned the rightful duties back to the priests and Levites. There were a lot of changes that had happened when the children of Israel had gone into captivity and much within the church had to be righted. It made me think of what is going on right now. If/when this time of isolation is over, it would be sad if so much re-establishing would need to be done among the people of God. I urge all of us to continue following after God, spending our daily time with Him. Staying faithful to His Word. Keeping the Truth the truth. Let's pray that the whole world, our community, but especially our Lord and Savior remembers us for our good!

Wonderful Word Of Life by Philip P Bliss
Sing them over again to me,
Wonderful words of life;
Let me more of their beauty see,
Wonderful words of life.
Words of life and beauty
Teach me faith and duty;
Refrain:
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life;
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
Wonderful words of life.
Christ, the blessed One, gives to all
Wonderful words of life;
Sinner, list to the loving call,
Wonderful words of life.
All so freely given,
Wooing us to heaven;
Sweetly echo the Gospel call,
Wonderful words of life;
Offer pardon and peace to all,
Wonderful words of life.
Jesus, only Savior,
Sanctify forever.
