Luke 12:29-31

“And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.”

As we read the news, we read about a deadly virus, sorrow and even financial ruin in all the Nations of the World. Many people are suffering. How do you handle the trials this Earth dishes out?  Seek His Kingdom.  Verse 34 says: “for where your treasure is, there will your
 heart be also.”
Christians know this is only our temporary home. Our forever home is
Heaven. There is a world out there that needs to hear of this hope. Pray for your neighbors. Ask God how you can bring their attention to Jesus Christ and the free gift of eternal life.

Parents: How do we apply this for our children?
  1. Pray with your kids that the neighbors will want to know God.
  2. Make a prayer list and post it on the refrigerator for kids to look at.
  3. Have your kids make cards for neighbors.
  4. Make cookies and leave them on the neighbor’s door step.
  5. Keep memorizing verses so your kids will be ready to share the Gospel.
