Campus Coastal Challenge
What is it? [2009 pics]
A wonderful weekend of camping in a beautiful setting. On Saturday, ride approximately 20 miles at your own pace on a bike trail overlooking the ocean to Fisherman's Wharf, through Cannery Row and along the coast. Sunday is for your own enjoyment.
Location The Monterey Penninsula
Cost $50 per person/$25 if under 12 years of age (this includes tax). Recruit someone who has not attended before and receive a $6 credit per person in your group (up to 4).
Lodging
Marina Dunes RV Campground. Some RV spots are available. Please inquire if you are interested. If you are interested in staying in a hotel, there are a couple just down the street.

Meals
Friday evening, everyone is on their own. We usually get a group of people together and go to a local restaurant. Saturday is a continental breakfast. Lunch is a deli sandwich buffet in Pacific Grove. Dinner is Santa Maria Tri Tip with all the trimmings. On Sunday, a full breakfast will be served by the Coastal Challenge Chefs.
Daytime Temperature In Monterey: approx. 68-72 degrees. In Fresno: 100+
What if I am not interested in riding a bike. Can I still come?
Yes. You do not have to ride a bike to attend. We can use assistance with support vehicles, or just come with us to enjoy the cool weather and great fellowship!
